From Specialized to Legal - We Haul It All!

 We specialize in transporting oversize freight and we have the equipment necessary
to haul a wide variety of such loads. Providing the proper equipment is important, however, just as important is the knowledge and ability to comply with all the rules and permit requirements necessary to transport oversize loads. All 48 states have different rules, regulations and permit requirements for oversized transportation. Our staff is experienced with acquiring the permits required to legally transport your loads. We take care of all the details including ordering route surveys and pilot cars and we review the permitted route very closely with our drivers so there are not any questions regarding the roadways they are allowed to travel.  

Many deliveries require us to get off the "beaten path" in order to accommodate our customers needs. We have delivered many large, oversized tanks into the mountains of Colorado. We work with our customers, local authorities, and if necessary personally visit the delivery locations to assess each situation and ensure the delivery is safe and successful. 

The transportation of fiberglass products requires a delicate touch. We have specialized in oversized fiberglass loads for many years and our drivers are very knowledgeable of the delicate handling required to safely transport and deliver these products without damaging them. We have successfully delivered 16' wide swimming pools into residential areas as well as large tanks into tedious city locations such as the Bronx Community College in Bronx, NY.   

 Agricultural equipment and products come in every shape and size imaginable
and we pride ourselves in our ability to transport many of them. We accommodate the customer’s needs in all situations, including picking up a newly manufactured item at the factory, multiple pieces of equipment from auction sites and single piece partials from individual sellers.  

We have also recently purchased a new 2022 Landoll Implement Trailer in order to better serve our local farmers, custom harvesters and implement dealers. 

 Transporting oil field and gas skids also require specialty trailers and multi-axle units
for overweight loads. We actively participate in oil rig moves all across the U.S.
Loading and delivery for rig moves requires patience and perseverance. In most cases, you have to wait for the rigs to be dismantled and then they're delivered to remote drilling locations. Our drivers cooperate with job supervisors to make the transportation
as hassle free as possible. 

 The task of relocating commercial cranes requires a variety of equipment and multiple trucks. It takes precise planning to coordinate the loading of heavy haul and accessory trucks as the job site crew dismantles the crane for transport. To simplify the loading process, a representative from Thomas Trucking can be present at the loading site to assist the job supervisor, if desired. Multiple trucks are provided in a scheduled format to load each section of the crane as it is dismantled. With the assistance of brokerage division, Star Specialized Transport, we are able to provide the multiple trucks that are necessary to complete the relocation successfully and in a timely, organized manner.
